I will say my job isn’t like this ALL the time…maybe like 50-60% of the time

I’m a “pottery operator” at a community art center—but essentially I’m the assistant to the main teacher. I also teach classes, but that’s only a few times a week. The rest of the time my boss gives me a check list of studio chores to do. She is often not there bc she owns her own gallery, so for example every Monday and Friday I spend the whole day just checking off tasks on a to-do list. Things like cleaning and organizing shelves and cupboards, loading kilns (which I LOVE to do, unironically), mix clay, prep clay and tools for lessons, etc etc… and then when I’m done, I can either “lesson plan” which is usually me looking at pintrist, writing a bit, or working on teacher samples to see how I would demo it (which is very fun to me) or I leave, because I get paid salary, so if the work is done I’m good

So basically it is literally the perfect job for me. The perfect mix of social interaction (and it’s usually with other artistic people), teaching (which I also love to do), and mentally and physically engaging but NOT back breaking menial tasks that I can just check off on a to-do list (and I usually listen to an audio book the whole time..)

So, like, a pretty niche kinda job I guess….but it’s seriously the perfect fit for me

Shaheen: idk why it was funny to imagine his college dorm lol he uses space very efficiently also his desk is very important 🧠

Gideon: his room is so big and so empty but he’s barely home so who cares, the only notable thing about it besides the diabolical toys collection on display is the display cabinet he keeps all his medals, plane models, pictures, uniforms etc in

Yazan: yazan’s room as you know is a Dumpster 😂 it’s impossible to find anything in there and it’s never tidy, also so many posters and records + ofc drum corner

Valen: very pretty but his room is an entire house in itself you need directions to where everything is 💀 Texas king bed with a canopy, mirror above bed/on ceiling, maximalist unique decor and very beautifully coordinated color wise. Also huge portraits of himself obviously lol

Twisted Thoughts: Silver’s UM

One may think that Silver’s UM is weak and even useless, mainly because what we used to call “strong” often has something to do with physical damage.

However, many would agree that it’s not about what tools or abilities you possess but how you use them. Any tool can be a deadly tool. Any knowledge or skill can make you dangerous and powerful. Question is, whether you realise the full potential of your “weapon” or not.

The best example would be Jade. And I think it’s been discussed a lot how smartly he utilise his ridiculously impractical UM. So back to Silver.

Won’t go deep into descriptions. Basically, Silver’s UM is dreamwalking, visiting dreams of other people (and animals?? just joking). That’s it. That’s the UM.

It can’t be used in a battle, it can’t protect, it can’t hurt, unless…?

Mind control. Driving someone mad. Pushing them to a dangerous point. Haunting them in their dreams every night. Making them see nightmares. Making them regret waking up or making them scared of going to sleep. Exhausting them so they know no rest. So they can’t differentiate between dreams and reality. Make them loose their mind.

Physical abuse isn’t the most dangerous thing. Mental torture can be far more painful sometimes.

We’re lucky that Silver is a good boy. Having someone getting into your subconscious with ill intent can bring some really dreadful consequences.

Honestly I want to fight every fucking politician that thinks banning birth control is a good idea personally.

Are you fucking stupid? Are you dense in the head? Do you honestly think the only reason people take it is as a contraceptive? What, do you just expect the people who have incredibly painful periods to just bear with it when that helps?

Like don’t get me wrong, even if it was just used as a contraceptive, it would be fucking stupid to ban it. But every god damn time I see the idea of banning it brought up I get so ungodly mad because I remember the shit I had to deal with for so long. If I get any form of abdominal pain past a certain threshold I start feeling dread because my body is genuinely scared of experiencing that shit again.

And if your going to be a bitch like “oh the pain can’t be that bad” what about the anemia then. Huh? You know that heavy periods can lead to anemia, right? Some of my iron related levels were so low people ask me how I was still functioning. I had multiple months of trips to the hospitals for iron infusions, and this was AFTER a UID helped stop me from bleeding out every god damn month.

I don’t care* if you want to bring “consequences back to sex” or whatever the fuck these people are saying, but I would much rather you don’t bring back consequences to just having a uterus, alright? Fucking hell.

*don���t get me wrong I think this is also stupid. People should be able to do what they want safely but my point is these people are banning something because they think “oh sex evil” when that’s not even it’s only use
